With the month of Ramadan coming up, everyone seems to be in preparation mode! How is it that year after year we tell ourselves we will be preparing earlier, yet we still start 2 weeks before?
Folding samosas, making pies, sausage rolls, the list goes on. Anything so that we can save some money as the prices of savories has become ridiculous. Everyone planning their morning breakfast and just getting excited for the holy month of Ramadan.
Lots of people adopt different eating habits during this time. Either way fasting during the month of Ramadan has many benefits for everyone. Personally, I prefer fasting during winter as the time is much less.
For the upcoming month of Ramadan, I will be trying to focus on keeping active. After all, I do have vitality goals that I need to reach! For breakfast, I’m hoping to keep it as healthy as possible. Below are some of my ideas for a healthy filling breakfast.
- Eggs (Scrambled, Boiled or Omelette)
- Yogurt with Fresh Fruit and Seeds/Muesli
- Low Gi Bread
- Chia Seeds With Yogurt or Chia Puddings
If you have any other ideas please let me know in the comments section below.
Furthermore, I would like to wish all my Muslim readers/followers a Ramadan Kareem. Hope this month is everything you wished it to be and more.
