Lots of people always seem to be asking for ideas for a shopping list. I have put together a list of a few of the items which I regularly buy. (See below to download)
Some tips when shopping:
- Don’t shop while hungry. This usually leads to the purchasing of unnecessary items.
- Refrain from walking down the sweet aisle
- Make a list of everything you need and try to stick to it.
Remember when trying to change your current lifestyle to a healthier one, preparation is key. The week you decide to start, I advise you to prepare your meals. If not prepare your meals, make a list of what you will be eating and try to stick to it! Make it fun and get stickers to paste each time you’ve stuck to your plan.
Always remember that before changing or starting any new diet, it’s important to consult with your health care provider. This is especially important if you have any medical conditions or you are taking any medication.
